Location / Lieu : Estiatorio OREXI , 417 Rue Saint‑Nicolas, Old Montréal, QC

Responsibilities / Responsabilités

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.

  • Préparer et cuisiner les plats selon les recettes et standards de présentation.
  • Maintain clean and organized station, ensure proper food storage and rotation (FIFO).
  • Maintenir le poste propre et organisé, assurer le stockage et la rotation correcte des aliments (FIFO).
  • Assist with inventory, restocking, and kitchen prep for service.
  • Participer à l'inventaire, au réapprovisionnement et à la préparation des postes.
  • Coordinate with kitchen team and front-of-house to ensure timely, high-quality service.
  • Travailler en coordination avec l'équipe pour assurer un service rapide et de qualité.
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Respecter les normes d'hygiène et de sécurité alimentaire.
  • Flexible for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Disponible en soirée, le week-end et les jours fériés.

Required Skills / Compétences requises

3+ years line cook experience in a full-service restaurant (no exceptions).

  • Minimum 3 ans d'expérience en cuisine de restaurant à service complet (aucune exception).
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and organization.
  • Connaissance des techniques culinaires, équipements et organisation de la cuisine.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Sens du travail en équipe, bonnes communications, capacité à travailler sous pression.
  • Physical stamina for long shifts, lifting, and hot environments.
  • Endurance physique pour longues périodes, manipulation de charges et chaleur.
  • Food handler certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Permis/certification en manipulation des aliments préféré ou volonté de l'obtenir.
