Patient Care Coordinator

Active Care Health is looking to hire a part/full-time Patient Care Coordinator for our clinic.

Responsibilities for the position include ensuring our patients get the best care and experience that Active Care Health has to offer, while professionally coordinating our collaborative clinic to provide top notch support and communication for our team of practitioners.

This position anticipates our patients and practitioners needs, while making sure medical records and billings are accurately maintained.

Characteristics:

Candidates must be able to multitask in a high pace environment, communicate well and maintain an organized environment. Whether answering phones, writing letters, greeting patients, or working with our team to drive growth, the person in this position must be both personable and professional while handling multiple tasks and projects at once.

Primary Duties:

  • Regular administration and reception duties - register patients, answering phone calls and emails, general correspondence, medical billing, reports and chart notes.
  • Scheduling, booking, and billing patients via MRX software and POS system.
  • Clinical support - assisting doctors and practitioners.

Skills:

Skills associated with marketing, social media, communication and creativity is highly desirable. It is preferred, but not mandatory, that a candidate has a medical office administration diploma or similar education and previous administration experience. Proficiency with computers is a must.

Experience:

  • Education - Grade 12+
  • Medical Office Assistant Certificate (not required but preferred)
  • Two years or more of related work experience in a health care setting - or similar environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
