Bakery Mixer Operator Full-time

Afternoon Shift starting at 3pm. Must train on days

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working in a food processing environment.
  • Finding and obtaining ingredients from the warehouse.
  • Weighing and measuring different ingredients according to the recipe.
  • Pouring ingredients into a mixing machine as per recipe instructions.
  • Operating the mixing machinery.
  • Cleaning of used tools, utensils, and tables at the end of the shift.
  • Bringing knives back to production supervisor at end of shift.
  • Identifying allergens and following allergen colour coding system.
  • Labeling Work in Process ingredients.
  • Notifying production supervisor of all quality issues.
  • Recording quantity and raw ingredient lot codes on recipes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in food production industry
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Follow Food Safety and HACCP systems and GMP rules
  • 1 to 3 years experience in scaling and mixing in a manufacturing environment

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to stand on their feet for most of the day.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must wear safety shoes, masks, hairnets and uniform all day.
