As a senior Oracle EPM advisor, you actively participate in developing a highly complex, large-scale business solution that has significant impact and scope across the entire organization. You're consulted and involved in upgrade and patch requests related to projects and products. You conduct analyses and contribute to the development of large-scale business and software solutions. You make sure that solutions are high-quality and secure and that they meet the needs of EPM users. You're in charge of defining the implementation strategy, testing strategy and data conversion strategy. You make and are accountable for decisions. You lead and serve as a specialist in implementing business performance processes (financial planning and analysis, or FP&A) supported by the solution. You collaborate with various business partner, IT and project delivery teams. You serve as a specialist advisor and subject matter expert for clients and partners. As a team player, you demonstrate open-mindedness towards agile approaches, which also means versatility and a desire to contribute to all the work the team does. Your role primarily involves working as a business expert for our new EPM Cloud solution, mainly, but not exclusively, focused on modules for budgeting, financial planning, profitability, cost management and allocation (FP&A). More specifically, you will be required to:
  • Coach the team on analyzing business solutions and make improvements to speed up delivery
  • Coach business clients in documenting and expressing their business needs
  • Collaborate as a specialist on the feasibility or detailed design of the solution
  • Cocreate with business partners to define needs and manage backlogs
  • Define specific use cases/exceptions in collaboration with process owners, functional teams and project teams
  • Advise and guide the development team and process owner by recommending different functional alternatives aligned with the business and functional architecture
  • Lead the development of the various strategies (conversion, testing, implementation) related to business testing, in collaboration with the architect and various parties involved
  • Participate in automated and/or manual tests within your scope (specific cases/exceptions), with a focus on the end-to-end process
  • Produce or update required documentation
  • Monitor development technologies and practices, and mentor the team on software package use cases and methods

What You Bring To The Table
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, accounting, finance or a related field
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Knowledge of the banking industry and financial reporting processes and terminology
  • In-depth knowledge of the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) product or the previous version
  • Knowledge of Profitability and Cost Management (PCMCS) and Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS)
