Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid Designer role based in the London, Canada Metropolitan Area, with the flexibility to work from home part-time. The Designer will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and finalizing architectural, mechanical, and electrical design drawings. Daily tasks include translating client needs into practical design solutions, ensuring compliance with local building codes, and collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality drawings on schedule. The Designer will also be responsible for maintaining clear communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in architectural, mechanical, and electrical drafting and design
  • Expertise in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and standards, with the ability to implement them in designs
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective time-management skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Experience in residential, commercial, or renovation projects is preferred
  • Ability to adapt to a hybrid work environment and manage tasks both on-site and remotely
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, or related field is preferred
