As our Building Maintenance Coordinator, you'll play a key role in keeping our facilities safe, functional, and welcoming. You'll take a proactive approach to building maintenance by staying ahead of issues, completing routine repairs, coordinating major projects with skilled trades, and responding to service requests from store teams and tenants. Location: This role is primarily based throughout our dealerships in the HRM, however some travel to our locations across Atlantic Canada may be required, so flexibility and a willingness to travel are important.
Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000/year, based on knowledge, skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, and general upkeep of the facility
- Inspect HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems to ensure proper operation
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and oversee contractors for larger projects
- Respond promptly to service requests from store teams and tenants
- Manage vendor relationships, obtain quotes, and ensure work meets quality standards
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all work follows safety and building regulations
- Support or supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Complete other duties as assigned to keep facilities running smoothly
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facility maintenance, building operations, or a related field
- Solid understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building repairs
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Clear and professional communication skills for working with staff, tenants, and vendors
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, work at heights, and complete physically demanding tasks
