This positon also has tip compensation. On average this may add an additional $4-$6 onto the hourly total.

What You'll Do

As Assistant Store Manager, you'll lead a team of budtenders, create a positive store culture, and deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Leading by example to foster a positive, educational, and customer-first environment.
  • Hiring, training, and coaching team members.
  • Managing daily store operations including opening/closing, scheduling, payroll, and inventory.
  • Collaborating with the corporate team on promotions, community initiatives, and store strategies.
  • Ensuring compliance with all cannabis retail regulations.
  • Supporting team education through ongoing product knowledge and development.

What We're Looking For

  • Must be 19+ with flexible availability, including weekends and evenings
  • 2+ years of experience in retail or hospitality leadership
  • Pre-employment Criminal Record Check
  • Valid provincial cannabis certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong communication, organization, and team-building skills
  • A genuine interest in cannabis education and community engagement
