Job Purpose
The Associate is responsible and accountable for the overall maintenance, updating, writing, co-writing and editing documentation. The Associate is accountable to research, maintain the organizational structure, and perform revisions and verification of the information library database for internal partners. The Associate must comply with documentation standards, corporate rules and tool structure. Provides support and guidance to partners to ensure adherence and facilitate site navigation.
Major Accountabilities/Duties
- Analyze, investigate, validate and take action upon request, feedback and complaints from internal partners regarding the information within the library
- database documentation
- Assess and assign request based on requirement and capacity in partnership with internal various partners
- Assist and participate in projects, write, co-write and edit the applicable reference
- material
- Ensure content complies with corporate rules and documentation standards
- Ensure integrity of the library database through maintenance and monitoring of portal documentation and testing of documented steps and associated hyperlinks
- Research, verify and validate all related documents for updates or merging of information where possible
- Prepare documentation, proofread translations of same to ensure accurate context and language are captured from the initial document
Key Decision/ Problem Solving
- Identify non-compliance to: Bell's policies and processes, writing standards and rules relating to the tool to ensure accuracy and clarity of information
- Prioritize each request by determining associated time and cost
- Identify training or process improvement opportunities to partners through monitoring of consistent information queries or complaints received
Relationships
- Ability to establish and maintain credibility in convincing internal partners to comply
- with processes and standards
- Ability to support, guide and advise partners on documentation quality standards,
- process improvement opportunities and site navigation
- Ability to promote the tool to users
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with our internal partners
- Knowledge of English is required
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
