The role has the overall (or primary) responsibility for all stages of various projects execution. Translation of client requirements, Design concept creation, presentations development, execution, and management of technical documentation, client relationship, external and internal teams' collaboration, project activities planning from start to finish.

The role reports to Associate or Project/ Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities

Design
Concept & Presentation

  • Interprets and evaluate client requirements
  • Initiates research to establish preliminary design concept
  • Develops and coordinates detail design concepts
  • Coordinates integration of design with Clients, consultants
  • Develop and contribute to concept design presentations
  • May lead internal and external design presentation
  • Performs tasks according to Cecconi Simone project execution processes and protocols
  • Facilitates firm and project goals of excellence in design and execution

Technical + Project A-Z

  • Understand budget and schedule
  • Reads, prepares project documentation (drawings and specifications)
  • Prepares, reviews, implements local code requirements, conducts accessibility analysis
  • Participates and contributes to design and technical coordination among disciplines
  • Reviews, markup/comment on drawings and project documentation, both internal and related design disciplines (Mechanical and Electrical Engineering).
  • Prepares issue of tender documents for construction, participate in tender analysis.
  • Prepares/Drives construction administration, shop drawing review, deficiency reports, certificates of substantial completion; including site visits, change notices, site instructions, certificates for payment, etc.
  • Reviews & comments on performance specification manual and related schedules.
  • Monitors project filing & document management/organization
  • Performs tasks according to Cecconi Simone project execution processes and protocols
  • Understands process of design and client/designer/consultant/contractor relationship.

  • Commitment to Change & Practice Evolution, knowledge sharing, mentoring junior designers, in addition to active participation in special initiatives / projects, and assignments

Position Requirements

  • o Highly developed creative, technical, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • o Graduate of a recognized school of Interior Design / Architecture.
  • o Working towards Completing NCIDQ and ARIDO accreditation
  • o Other Professional Certifications LEED/BREEAM/Well, BCIN
  • o Minimum of 6 – 8 years' experience, with minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • o Proficiency with technical software: Advanced REVIT, CAD, and Photoshop skills (including advanced rendering skills using REVIT and Photoshop), enhanced hand drawing skills and computer software skills (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
