Skyline Truck Repair is a busy and growing repair facility specializing in tow truck maintenance and heavy-duty truck repairs. We pride ourselves on delivering dependable, high-quality service to our clients across the region. We're currently seeking an experienced Truck Mechanic to join our team.
Whether you're fully licensed (310T) or an advanced apprentice, if you've got the skills and at least 3 years of hands-on experience — we want to hear from you.
Having your own service van is a strong asset.
Job Description:
You will be responsible for performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on tow trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles. You may work both in-shop and in the field (if equipped with a service van).
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and brake systems
- Perform regular maintenance and safety inspections on tow trucks
- Accurately complete repair orders and service reports
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Communicate with team and customers as needed
- Roadside service calls (if equipped and approved)
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks
- 310T license preferred, or 3rd/4th year apprentice
- Experience working specifically with tow trucks is a strong asset
- Service van is a definite asset (mobile work opportunities available)
- Own tools required
- Valid G license (DZ or AZ preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Self-motivated and reliable
