Job Purpose

Under this role, the incumbent will provide full cycle accounting, tax filing services and supporting schedules and Family Office quarterly reporting

Requirements:

  • CPA designation or CPA Candidate possessing a minimum of 5+ years' experience
  • Public accounting experience including the preparation of Canadian personal/corporate tax returns and the compilation of Financial Statements
  • Advanced computer skills: Microsoft Excel (MACROS/PIVOT/MODELING) and MS Outlook, VBA is an asset
  • Strong working knowledge of Canadian GAAP and Canadian taxation
  • Full-cycle Canadian accounting experience
  • Experience with accounting and tax software applications: Tax Prep (T1, T2, T3), Caseware, QuickBooks, Quicken and Write-up
  • Proven ability to analyze problems and propose solutions
  • Comprehensive oral and written communication skills with an ability to produce concise clear reports, letters and emails and to communicate clearly and concisely with clients
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented with a proven ability to handle multiple priorities and manage projects to timely conclusion; Self-starter and team player, able to work independently and collaboratively with various teams in a deadline-focused environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
