Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting pharmacists in delivering high-quality patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to assist with medication administration in a fast-paced environment, such as a hospital or retail pharmacy.

2-3 years Kroll Experience required.

Duties

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and organizing medications.
  • Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Process prescription orders and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Support the pharmacy team with administrative tasks, including record-keeping and filing.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication management.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is required.
  • 2-3 years Kroll experience required.
  • Familiarity with hospital settings or retail pharmacy operations is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for managing medication administration accurately.
  • A commitment to providing compassionate patient care and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
