Job Description

Our client, a growing commercial warehousing organization in Moncton, is seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper to support their small and collaborative team. In this role, you will work approximately 6-8 hours per week while managing the organization's bookkeeping functions, perfect for someone looking to add a new client to their portfolio.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:

  • Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow
  • Process accounts payable 
  • Prepare and process payroll for a small group of employees
  • Oversee accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Coordinate corporate tax return preparation as required

Experience & Attributes for Success:

  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience and autonomy in a similar bookkeeping role
  • Experience with Distribution and Importing
  • Experience with QuickBooks is a definite asset
  • High level of integrity, responsibility, and discretion with financial information
  • Organized and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take initiative
