Lead Hardware Engineer (DVT)
to work on leading edge technology products. The successful candidate for this full-time position will be a part of highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the Hardware requirements and draft test cases and procedures.
  • Design Test Equipment for CCA, LRU.
  • Execute Test procedures on CCA, LRU.
  • Mentor Junior Engineers on writing Test cases, procedures and executing test cases
  • Understanding of aerospace electronic circuits, assembly drawings, Gerbers, etc.
  • Prepare concept diagrams of prototypes, test interfaces, test equipment.
  • Plan allocation of test cases and test procedures to junior engineers and document change impact analysis.

Basic Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
  • 6+ years of experience in electronic design involving Test Procedure and Test Equipment development in Aerospace is Required.
  • Experience with medium complex schematic design is an asset.
  • Experience with Hands-on Test Equipment (ATE, Test Jig) development from aerospace is Required.
  • Experience with Development of Hardware Test cases, test procedure and execution of test procedures in aerospace is required.
  • Experience with Safety Critical System (DAL A, B, C) Verification and Validation is an asset.
  • Experience with Testing Labs (EMI & ENV) is an asset not mandatory.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills. Prior working experience in an Aerospace Company is asset.
