Companion with speech therapy or dementia care experience

We are looking for a companion with a specific set of skills or experience in speech therapy or dementia care. The client lives in a seniors community and has early stage dementia and aphasia. She would enjoy someone with a youthful attitude and who is fun and outgoing, conversational and patient. Shifts are 3 afternoons a week, 3 hours each visit.

myCareBase is an online platform that connects families who are caring for an aging loved one, with caregivers looking for work. We help families and paid caregivers facilitate the recruitment, vetting and placement process.
We want to help you find more clients You set your own hourly rates, and have control of when and where you want to work. There is no cost to be included on our platform.
Accepted candidates will go through an assessment and vetting process to ensure a consistent level of quality on our platform. This process will include a job reference check (so please be prepared to provide 2 job references) and a criminal background check.
