Fires Alive is a Fireplace and BBQ store serving Peterborough and Lindsay, ON, we offer a curated selection of premium fireplaces (wood, gas, propane, pellet, electric), BBQs, smokers, outdoor fire features, and daylighting solutions.

We are seeking a full time, detail-oriented and results-driven Sales & Project Coordinator to join our team. This role involves coordinating sales activities, managing project timelines, and ensuring smooth execution from initial client contact to final installation. Job is Monday to Friday 10-6pm, and every other Saturday 10-4pm.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of sales processes, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional customer service. Some administration and warehouse management is also involved in this position, Forklift certification is an asset; candidates without certification must be willing to obtain it.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track sales projects from initial proposal through to completion.
  • Work closely with the sales team to prepare quotes, proposals, and client presentations.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address questions or concerns.
  • Liaise between internal team and other contractors and teams to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, project milestones, and client communications.
  • Ensure all sales and project documentation is accurate, complete, and organized.
  • Unload shipments into warehousing sea cans

Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in sales coordination, project coordination, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and client relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • QuickBooks experience an asset, willing to train.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
