Position:Temporary Full-Time Teaching Position- Middle School Grade 8-9 (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Start Date: November 17, 2025

End Date: June 24, 2026

Kleos is seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to fill a temporary full-time teaching position to cover a maternity leave. The position is anticipated to run from November 17, 2025 to June 24, 2026.

Salary: $62,854.59*

  • Salary based on full-Time Equivalency (FTE) is calculated based on the number of students in a teacher's case load.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan engaging lessons that meet learners where they are at
  • Host student-centred IEP meetings
  • Develop IEPs in collaboration with Resource Teachers
  • Deliver content using D2L Brightspace (LMS)
  • Offer regular / weekly synchronous learning opportunities using Zoom
  • Provide timely, dynamic, and responsive assessment feedback
  • Report progress to families

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Education Degree
  • Valid BC Teaching Certificate
