What you'll be doing

As a Consultant, Enterprise Digital and AI Strategy, you will support the strategic direction of CIBC's digital and AI objectives by heightening our enterprise's maturity in key digital scalable capabilities. You will place a sharp focus on communication through story-telling; articulating our bank's ambition and gaining alignment from our partners to drive strategic initiatives. You will also own and lead integral thought leadership programs to influence and inspire our teams on key digital topics.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How You'll Succeed

  • Collaboration & deep-dive: Effectively consult and collaborate with key partners and stakeholders across CIBC to develop unified digital banking platforms and capabilities.

  • Process-driven approach: Apply a structured, engineering mindset to analyze problems, design processes, and build actionable use cases that translate strategy into measurable outcomes.

  • Data-driven modelling: Build and evaluate business cases through advanced modelling, ROI calculations, and scenario analysis to inform investment decisions and enterprise priorities.

  • Enable new opportunities and our future: Assess market and emerging digital opportunities for increased revenue growth and enhanced client experiences, and stay relevant in advances within digital banking.

  • Create outputs via impeccable story-telling: Leverage the art of story-telling to articulate and showcase our vision, progress and updates to a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ownership to meet objectives: Lead work packages from inception to execution. Manage integral business needs to enable Enterprise Digital and AI Enablement to deliver on its mandate.

Who You Are

  • STEM background: You bring a foundation in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics, enabling you to approach challenges analytically and design practical solutions.

  • Process engineer at heart: You're skilled in mapping, refining, and optimizing processes, with experience building scalable use cases that unlock value.

  • Strong with numbers: You have advanced Excel and modelling skills, with the ability to size opportunities, build ROI models, and clearly present quantitative insights that influence decisions.

  • You're a confident storyteller: You can comfortably utilize appropriate visuals and deck design to convey complex business issues and provide easily digestible updates to stakeholders across CIBC.

  • You're digitally savvy. You seek out innovative solutions and embrace evolving technologies. You can easily adapt to new tools and trends.

  • You act like an owner. You thrive when you're empowered to take the lead, go above and beyond, and deliver results.

  • You embrace and champion change. You'll continuously evolve your thinking and the way you work in order to deliver your best.

  • You build meaningful relationships. You forge strong relationships and surround yourself with a diverse network of partners. You build trust through respect and authenticity.

  • Values matter to you. You bring your real self to work and you live our values – trust, teamwork, and accountability.
