We build ground breaking AI technology that can read and understand contract language to make every part of the deal-making process from drafting, negotiating, reviewing, approving, or managing the contracts happen faster, better, with reduced risks. We build AI first products, and automate manual work, freeing up our customers time and accelerating their businesses.

You will be joining the Evisort AI team, which functions as a startup within Workday. This is your opportunity to build at the pace of innovation of a startup, while backed by the enormous support and impacting Workday's incredible customer base of 70M+ users.

About the Role

Evisort Engineering is expanding and as a result of that a new Software Development unit is being formed. We are looking for a Front-End Engineer to join this team. As such, you will work with a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled engineers, in close collaboration with your Product and Design partners, with the goal of maintaining and expanding our best-in-class contract management offerings. Your technical expertise and ability to work collaboratively so that the sum is greater than the parts will be crucial in realizing our ambitious vision to deliver best-in class-AI at scale, to transform how major companies optimize and streamline key business processes related to negotiating and managing their contracts.

Your role will be instrumental in advancing our AI initiatives and delivering exceptional value to corporate legal departments and business professionals world-wide.

You will:

• Partner closely with engineering, data science, product management, and design teams to execute the vision, strategy and roadmap

• Participate in a collaborative team culture that encourages iteration and innovation, and a deep understanding of both our business domain and of engineering practices to steer engineering decisions

• Have an impact on the professional development and productivity of your teammates
• Be part of a team that will own several functional areas of our platform ("you build it, you run it")

About You

We're looking for talented people who love a fast-paced environment, want to ship customer value early and often, and make an impact with groundbreaking ideas. The right candidate for this role is a problem solver first and foremost - they should enjoy tackling challenging problems, coming up with creative solutions, and guiding and teaching their counterparts and teammates about how to leverage their solutions. They bring a sense of urgency, a bias for action, and are outcome driven.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• 3+ years of experience with Typescript and React
• Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent work experience

Other Qualifications

• Familiarity with multiple programming languages and paradigms a plus
• Experienced in building and operating SaaS products in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Experienced in the technologies and tradeoffs involved in building modern distributed systems
• Advanced knowledge of modern software development practices (devops, automated testing, observability, etc)
• Successful track record of operating as part of cross-functional teams in fast-paced, agile environments
• Highly effective communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with legal professionals
• Eager to work openly and collaboratively with a diverse team
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity to turn hard problems into clear and compelling solutions through reasoning and research

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
