Assignment:

  • Full-time 1.0 FTE temporary replacement teaching position
  • Grades 7-9 English and French Immersion learning environments
  • Instructing in Junior High Language Arts and Social Studies 
  • Duties to commence March 2, 2026 and will continue until June 30, 2026

Qualifications:

  • Training and experience in French Immersion
  • Experience teaching Language Arts and Social Studies at the Junior High level 
  • Ability to utilize varied instructional  strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs 
  • Strong classroom management
  • Experience teaching in an alternative and flexible learning environment 
  • Experience leading Educational Assistants in a classroom setting 
  • Experience with level B assessment would be considered an asset 
  • Strong planning, interpersonal and organizational skills
