About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced live-in superintendent to manage a 120-unit residential building. This is a live-in position only, which is a mandatory job requirement. Approx 40 hours/week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular and preventive maintenance of the building's common areas, equipment, and systems.
  • Conduct move-in and move-out inspections, documenting any issues.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to tenants' maintenance requests and concerns.
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers when necessary.
  • Monitor and maintain building safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a superintendent or similar building maintenance role for 1 year or more.
  • Must pass security and safety, criminal record check and child Abuse Registry checks
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle emergencies calmly.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with tenants and service providers.
  • Must live on-site as part of the employment agreement (rental unit will be provided + work phone + internet)
