G & B Traffic Solutions Ltd. specializes in traffic control personnel, TMP and permit applications, equipment rentals, and maintained closures. The company offers introductory rates for a limited time and same-day TMP services. Located in Surrey, BC, G & B Traffic Solutions Ltd. is a trusted provider in the industry.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Traffic Control Person at G & B Traffic Solutions Ltd. The Traffic Control Person will be responsible for traffic control, Field Level Hazard Assessments , communication with operations management, and road traffic coordination in Surrey, BC.

Qualifications

Traffic Control and Traffic Management skills with knowledge of The 2020 Traffic Management Manual for Work on Roadways (TMM) is required.

  • Positive Attitude at work
  • Experience in coordinating road traffic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with strong problem-solving skills
  • Valid Traffic Control Person certification (TCP) is required
  • Previous experience in traffic control is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in traffic control (LCT experience is an asset)
  • Effective Communication and Operations Management skills experience is an plus.

Monday to Friday with potential overtime and on-call shifts Part time Casual Available.

Must Have CSA-approved 6" steel-toe boots required

  • Location: Lower Mainland between West Vancouver and Chilliwack (90% work in Surrey/Langley and Vancouver)

  • Transportation: A reliable personal vehicle is a Plus
