Overview

We are seeking a talented and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for nail care and customer service, providing clients with exceptional manicure and pedicure services in a welcoming environment. This role offers the opportunity to showcase your skills, promote retail products, and contribute to clients' overall beauty experience. A strong focus on sanitation, communication, and upselling will help ensure client satisfaction and business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Perform professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and other nail enhancements
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and sterilization in all tools and work areas
  • Provide personalized customer service by understanding client preferences and offering expert advice on nail care and products
  • Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, treatments, and skincare items to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales
  • Assist clients with body waxing services when qualified and trained to do so
  • Build lasting relationships with clients through excellent communication skills and attentive service
  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations
  • Promote salon services and retail offerings to maximize client engagement

Qualifications

  • Valid state licensing as a Nail Technician or Cosmetologist with nail specialty certification
  • Experience in nail care techniques including gel, acrylics, and natural manicures preferred
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for hygiene in a salon setting
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
  • Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining a professional demeanor
  • Experience with body waxing is a plus but not required; training may be provided for qualified candidates interested in expanding their skill set
  • Excellent communication skills to ensure clear understanding of client needs and preferences
