Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Basketball Player Development Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the player development program by assisting with training sessions, analyzing player performance, and contributing to the overall growth and success of our athletes. This role is perfect for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in professional basketball player development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Support:
  • Assist in the planning and execution of individual and team training sessions.
  • Provide on-court support during drills and practices, ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Performance Analysis:
  • Help analyze player performance through video review and statistical breakdowns.
  • Assist in tracking player progress and development goals.
  • Player Engagement:
  • Build positive relationships with players, offering encouragement and feedback.
  • Assist in organizing team-building activities and workshops.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain organized records of training sessions, player stats, and development plans.
  • Support the Player Development Coordinator with scheduling and logistics.
  • Research and Development:
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in basketball training and player development.
  • Assist in implementing new techniques and strategies to enhance player performance.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and strategies.
  • Previous experience in coaching, training, or player development preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Proficiency in video analysis software and performance tracking tools is a plus.
