Overview

We are hiring a Shipper/Receiver responsible for managing all incoming goods and materials. The successful candidate will ensure shipments are accurately received, inspected for quality, properly documented, and stored in a safe and organized manner. This position requires maintaining precise inventory records, optimizing stock organization, and supporting efficient warehouse operations through accurate and timely receiving practices. Ability to use ERP Netsuite software is an asset.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive and unload incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks
  • Verify shipments against packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices for accuracy
  • Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and report any issues promptly.
  • Record and update inventory information in ERP Netsuite software.
  • Work collaboratively with purchasing and quality teams to resolve shipment or quantity variances.
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts, reconciliation, and stock adjustments.
  • Support outbound shipping activities as needed, including preparing return shipments and transfers.
  • Store goods safely and efficiently in compliance with warehouse layout and safety standards.
  • support operational efficiency by proactively identifying and addressing potential delays

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in Shipping & Receiving (focus on Receiving).
  • Ability to lift 50lbs weight.
  • Preferably hands-on experience with ERP Netsuite software.
  • Forklift certification is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of safe material handling procedures and warehouse best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
