Position Overview:

We are seeking a strong Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with a solid background in the investment and financial services domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Equity, Fixed Income, and Derivatives asset classes, along with excellent analytical and SQL skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business users and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Work closely with portfolio management, trading, and operations teams to understand investment workflows.
  • Analyze and interpret investment data across asset classes — Equity, Fixed Income, and Derivatives.
  • Develop detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and data mapping documents.
  • Partner with development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Perform data validation, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure successful implementation.
  • Support Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in financial services or asset management.
  • Strong understanding of Equity, Fixed Income, and Derivatives asset classes.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large investment data sets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and system development lifecycle (SDLC).

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to investment management systems or portfolio accounting tools.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $42.11-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
