Territory Manager (Manitoba)About your role:
Clover, a Fiserv company, delivers payments and point-of-sale (POS) solutions that empower merchants to run their businesses with simplicity and scale. You will join the Clover field sales team responsible for owning territory growth, driving new business with bank channel partners, and expanding Clover adoption across SMB and CMM markets in Manitoba.
What you'll do:
- Build and maintain relationships with bank branch partners to source referrals and drive merchant acquisition.
- Prospect, qualify, and manage a pipeline of SMB and CMM opportunities through all stages of the sales cycle.
- Conduct on-site merchant consultations and product demonstrations of Clover POS solutions.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service agreements to close new business.
- Coordinate with channel, implementation, and support teams to ensure successful onboarding and activation.
- Track territory performance and forecast sales activity using CRM and sales reporting tools.

Experience you'll need to have:
- 10+ years of experience in B2B sales of point-of-sale, payments, or fintech solutions.
- 8+ years of experience in territory management, account development, and pipeline management using Salesforce or equivalent CRM.
- 6+ years of experience in negotiating pricing, contracts, and service agreements with SMB and CMM clients.
- 6+ years of experience with Clover POS platform, payment terminals, and POS hardware configuration.
- 6+ years of experience with payment industry standards and compliance, including PCI DSS, EMV, and NACHA.
- 6+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Proficiency in French and English for sales and merchant engagement in Quebec.
- Experience working with bank channel partnerships and referral-based acquisition models.
- Prior success selling to small and mid-market merchants in retail, foodservice, or service industries.
- Familiarity with merchant onboarding workflows, terminal provisioning, and retail integrations (e.g., inventory/POS integrations).
- Certification or training in payments industry topics (e.g., Certified Payments Professional or equivalent).
How you'll work:
- This role requires the use of a computer and audio equipment.
- This role requires flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
Travel:
- Approximately 60% field travel off-site or to other office locations is expected.
