BolDe Imaging Group is a leading custom sign manufacturer offering comprehensive design, fabrication, and installation services from our 40,000 sq. ft. facility in Mississauga. We specialize in 2D and 3D signage, channel letters, illuminated signs, architectural wayfinding, and large-scale branding projects. Our work blends design innovation with precision engineering to deliver durable, code-compliant signage solutions across commercial, retail, and construction sectors.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Signage to work closely with one of the company's owners in overseeing projects from the moment a sale is confirmed through to final installation. This role blends the responsibilities of an executive assistant and a production-oriented project manager, requiring exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in the signage industry, understands the technical and logistical demands of sign production, and can confidently coordinate between departments, clients, vendors, and installers to ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Coordination

  • Take full ownership of jobs immediately after the sale is secured, ensuring a smooth handoff from sales to production.
  • Prepare, review, and issue job orders, work orders, and production packages in coordination with design, fabrication, and installation teams.
  • Track project milestones, monitor timelines, and proactively resolve issues that could impact delivery or quality.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal departments throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate site surveys, permits, and approvals as required.
  • Schedule and oversee installations, ensuring completion according to scope, safety standards, and client expectations.

Owner Support

  • Serve as a key liaison and right-hand to the assigned company owner—filtering communications, tracking priorities, and ensuring critical projects stay on course.
  • Assist in managing client accounts, scheduling, and correspondence.
  • Prepare reports, project summaries, and updates for leadership meetings.

Documentation & Administration

  • Maintain accurate project records including estimates, drawings, change orders, and completion documents.
  • Review vendor quotes and purchase orders to confirm accuracy and alignment with project budgets.
  • Ensure all required safety documentation, insurance, and compliance requirements are met for site work.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements and documentation within ShopVox or equivalent job-tracking software.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the signage industry, ideally in a project coordination or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of signage production processes, materials, and installation methods.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in ShopVox, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, or similar software tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and accountability for results.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting senior leadership or ownership in an operational or executive capacity.
  • Understanding of permits, engineering requirements, and municipal sign bylaws.
