The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Front End Developer to join our team for a 3 month contract with potential to convert to full-time. As a Junior Front End Developer at Thinkingbox, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced Developers in a collaborative environment. This internship offers hands-on experience in developing interactive web applications and immersive digital experiences for our diverse range of clients.

• Collaborate with designers and developers to translate creative concepts into engaging user experiences.
• Develop responsive and visually appealing front end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure cross-browser compatibility and seamless functionality.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in front end development to enhance project outcomes.
• Assist in the maintenance and updates of existing websites and applications.
• Contribute ideas and solutions to enhance user experience and overall project quality.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with front end frameworks such as React, or is a plus.
• Basic understanding of design principles and UI/UX best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as internal equity, candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
