Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
  • Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol regulations, including proper food handling practices.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to management.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.

Skills

  • Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurant or bar settings.
  • Familiarity with Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
  • Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
