Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer oriented Marijuana Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the cannabis industry and possess excellent communication skills to assist customers in selecting the right products for their needs. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, educating clients about various cannabis strains and products, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. Must have Cannsell certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide them with personalized service.
  • Educate customers on different cannabis strains, products, and their effects.
  • Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions through effective communication.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales and inventory levels.
  • Upsell products by understanding customer needs and preferences.
  • Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and enhance customer experience.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and compliance regulations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
  • Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in hospitality or customer service roles is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory management and reporting is advantageous.
  • Ability to learn quickly about various cannabis products and their uses.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing excellent service.
