Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver for flatdeck to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting and securing goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of freight handling, commercial driving, and heavy equipment operation. A commitment to safety and excellent customer service is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport freight to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Secure cargo, utilizing forklifts and other equipment as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation.
  • Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle as needed.

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
  • USA visa is required
  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
  • Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance practices is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
