Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and pharmacy practices, as well as excellent communication skills to interact with both patients and healthcare professionals.

Duties

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.

- Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies.

- Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications.

- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory guidelines.

- Support medication administration processes within the hospital setting.

- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless medication management for patients.

- Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining pharmacy records.

Experience

- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is preferred.

- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the pharmacy environment.

- Experience in medication administration and patient care within a hospital or clinical setting is highly desirable.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

-Fillware experience is preferred
