Position Summary

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Part Time Sales Associate is responsible for all inside sales duties including mixing paint, stocking shelves and answer customer inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe working environment by following Yvon's health and safety guidelines.
• Formulate and blend paint, stains, and coatings to precise specifications and formulas, ensuring colour accuracy and consistency.
• Manage and maintain organization of inventory shelves including paint swatches.
• Screening and prioritizing incoming customer calls.
• Assist customers in the store, providing exceptional personalized service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Completes sales orders in Business Central.
• Assists with month end statements.
• Assists with general administrative duties including filing.
• Perform routine cleaning of all shelving, display units, windows, including sweeping and washing the floors.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

Experience

• Less than one year experience in a similar role

Skills and Abilities

• Adaptable to set and prioritize work with varying exceptions.
• Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures.
• Ability to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
• Ability to multitask and work independently with little supervision.
• Ability to effectively build relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Strong "customer service" mindset.
