Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic person to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing excellent service. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests. Must be a Canadian citizen and between the ages of 18-24
Duties
- Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Support cooking staff by preparing ingredients, cooking simple dishes, and plating meals as needed.
- Handle food items safely and responsibly, following proper food handling procedures.
- Participate in serving meals during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and high-quality food service.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation processes.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and food handling regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on various tasks as needed within the kitchen.
- Must have proserve certificate

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
