Arconic is currently in search of 4th year apprentice Millwright or Journeyman Millwright to join our team based in Lethbridge.

  Job Summary:
  Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Millwright is responsible for ensuring smooth operation of equipment, minimizing downtime, manages the startup and shut down of equipment and troubleshoot equipment issues.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
  • Adherence to all company safety policies
  • Maintain and upkeep plant equipment and facilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair all plant equipment
  • Complete all assigned work in a timely manner
  • Actively participate in the emergency response team
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to use the onsite Preventative Maintenance EAM program with provided tablet
  • Other duties as assigned
 

Qualifications
You have: (required)
  • 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyperson Millwright ticket licensed in Alberta (required)
  • Good understanding of hydraulic systems, conveyor systems, pumps, air compressors, mobile equipment, overhead cranes, piping, welding practices, and all plant 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience focusing on mechanical equipment maintenance
