Little Bugs Nursery is looking for a loving, energetic, and confident Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) Maternity Leave Coverage (with Potential for Permanent Full-Time Placement) to join our Toddler Classroom. We are a small, family-oriented centre where every educator plays an essential role in creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment for our children.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting daily routines, transitions, and program planning
  • Engaging children with warmth, patience, and enthusiasm
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment
  • Collaborating closely with our RECE team and centre supervisor
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and staff

Requirements:

  • ECA certification or equivalent experience working with toddlers
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Up-to-date CPR/First Aid
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for early childhood education

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 18 months

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
