Join Pomerleau as a Bid Coordinator Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting major construction projects across Canada.

What you will do

  • Assist the Bid Manager in coordinating and preparing competitive project proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop bid strategies and timelines.
  • Support proposal organization, document management, and communication workflows.
  • Participate in meetings, contribute to risk analysis, and assist in preparing technical content.
  • Foster strong stakeholder relationships and promote a positive, team-oriented environment.
  • Assist with scoring and cost analysis for bids.
  • Review contract requirements and provide support as needed.
  • Help manage the bid schedule and track deliverables and commitments.
  • Prepare materials for client meetings, including agendas and presentations.

  • Enrolled in an Engineering or Construction Management program.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in an office-based environment.
  • Passionate about construction and making an impact.
  • Self starter with a proactive approach to learning and contributing.
  • You are available for a 12-month internship from January 12, 2026 to December 18, 2026.
