We are quickly expanding our horizons and are seeking talented team members to join us on our journey to transform the global capital market.

Who You Are

You're a strategic and experienced product designer who thrives on solving complex challenges with elegant, user-centered solutions. You're excited by the opportunity to shape the future of capital raising and bring a bold, systems-thinking mindset to your work. You've led end-to-end design initiatives, coached teams, and driven outcomes that deliver measurable value. You're energized by collaboration, and you know how to influence product direction while advocating for design excellence. You embody DealMaker's values: you prioritize speed over perfection, drive outcomes, push your limits, find a way, innovate and simplify, and obsess over customers.

What You Will Do

As a Principal Product Designer at DealMaker, you'll own the design vision for a critical product area. You'll drive high-impact initiatives from strategy to execution and help build a scalable, design-first culture across the company.

- Lead the Design Strategy: Champion the design vision across a core product area, aligning with business goals, product strategy, and emerging AI opportunities in collaboration with Product and Engineering.

- Drive End-to-End Execution: Own the full design lifecycle -from research and ideation to prototyping and implementation - ensuring best-in-class user experiences across desktop and mobile.

- Evolve the Design System: Maintain and scale DealMaker's design system, championing consistency, reusability, and cross-functional adoption to improve speed, quality and the role of AI.

- Use Data to Drive Design: Apply both qualitative insights and quantitative data (e.g., CSAT, NPS, A/B tests, funnel analytics) to inform design decisions, validate hypotheses, and measure impact on user and business outcomes.

- Coach and Uplevel the Team: Mentor other designers through feedback, onboarding, and coaching, while fostering a strong culture of craft, experimentation, and iteration.

- Facilitate Design Thinking: Lead workshops and product discovery efforts to align stakeholders, surface user needs, and drive innovative solutions.

- Build with Scale in Mind: Design holistic, scalable product experiences that balance user needs, system constraints, and business outcomes.

- Lead Research Initiatives: Drive user research processes and help build scalable research frameworks and validation playbooks across the team.

What Skills You Need

- Experience: 12+ years in product design, including leadership on complex initiatives across web and mobile platforms.

- Portfolio: A compelling body of work showing high-quality design thinking, process, outcomes, and impact.

- Design Craft: Mastery of UX principles, interaction design, and visual polish with strong attention to scalability and system thinking.

- Tools: Expert-level proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools.

- AI tooling: Proficient with emerging AI tools, with a strategic mindset for integrating them into product design workflows.

- Data Fluency: Comfort with using both qualitative and quantitative data to drive decisions. Familiarity with A/B testing, metrics frameworks, and experimentation.

- Systems Thinking: Experience building and scaling design systems and applying design tokens for consistency and efficiency and the intersection of AI with design systems.

- Collaboration: Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment at the leadership level.

- Mentorship: Passion for developing other designers through mentorship, onboarding, and feedback.

- Communication: Strong storytelling and communication skills across diverse stakeholders, from peers to execs.

- Innovation Mindset: Comfortable navigating ambiguity, pushing boundaries, and leading change with a strong bias for action.
