Shunt Driver

DUTIES:

·Drive truck to transport and deliver products or materials

· Maintain radio or telephone contact with base or supervisor to receive instructions or be dispatched to a location

· Maintain truck log according to government regulations

· Perform visible inspection of the vehicle to ensure for safe operations

· Clean, inspect, service and safely operate a vehicle and equipment

· Keep record of materials and products transported

· Complete driver logbooks, bill of lading, inspection reports and accident/ incident reports

· Operate equipment on vehicle to assist in loading and unloading truck, or disperse products or materials

· No owner operator

· All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION

· AZ license is required and forklift driver's license

· Minimum 3 years driving experience

· Clean and accident free Driver Abstracts

· Occasionally must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Ability to work well with peers and all members of the organization

· Fluent written and spoken English

· Good computer skills

· Follow good housekeeping practices and company safety and HR policies
