Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Snow Plow Operator to efficiently manage snow removal operations during winter months. This role involves operating heavy machinery and performing maintenance tasks to ensure safe and accessible roads, driveways, and parking lots. The ideal candidate will have experience with landscape maintenance, construction, and mechanical knowledge, ensuring effective snow clearing while maintaining equipment in optimal condition.

Duties

  • Operate snow plows, skid steers, front end wheel loaders and sanding trucks
  • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on plow equipment and power tools to ensure safety and functionality
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for minor repairs or adjustments as needed
  • Assist with landscaping, gardening, or irrigation tasks during off-season periods to support overall site maintenance
  • Conduct safety checks prior to operation and adhere to safety protocols during all activities
  • Maintain detailed records of work completed and equipment used for accountability and reporting purposes

Experience

  • Prior experience operating excavators, snow plows, or other heavy machinery is preferred
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and outdoor work environments
  • Ability to work in cold weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
