Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality food and beverage service. You will be responsible for ensuring that all guests feel welcomed, valued, and satisfied throughout their dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests promptly, presenting menus and providing information about daily specials.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while ensuring proper food handling and sanitation practices.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and maximize sales.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
  • Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with attention to detail.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, with a strong understanding of restaurant operations.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Part-time
