JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is looking to bring on a Quality Engineer for a large aerospace manufacturing company in Longueil, QC. The ideal candidate should have experience within quality engineering, specifically on working with suppliers to diagnose, triage and troubleshoot issues. The candidate should have an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background to understand system engineering and system components to ensure that the aerospace engines are working efficiently. You should be comfortable advocating and challenging supplier inspections as well as working on an assembly line to understand all system components and internal parts. Knowledge on sensors, electrical, controls and system components is required.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE


• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field


• 7+ years of experience in aerospace quality engineering, inspection, and supplier quality management


• Strong experience with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and triaging complex quality issues


• Experience working with electronics, distributors and system engineering suppliers to ensure that engine components are working efficiently


• Experience working on sensors, electrical, controls and system components - root cause analysis, triaging and troubleshooting


• Experience working with suppliers to challenge and advocate on internal inspections


• Experience working on the assembly line to investigate issue and understand all internal parts (system engineering components)


• Familiarity with aerospace standards and regulatory requirements (AS9100, NADCAP preferred) -
• Bilingual English/French - intermediate French at minimum
