Additional Information:
This role ensures strategic delivery by aligning agile teams and managing project change and enterprise business analysis, while driving excellence through portfolio controls, system oversight, and performance tracking. Additionally, this role will lead and nurture the Delivery Centre of Excellence (CoE), ensuring the implementation of standardized frameworks and methodologies for enterprise delivery, including agile, waterfall, hybrid and business analysis practices. Coaching and capability-building are key to fostering a unified approach to strategic execution across the enterprise.

Reporting directly to the Head of Strategy and Enterprise Planning, this leader is directly accountable for connecting organizational and departmental strategy to meaningful work for the team and delivering the outcomes and results required of a modern Credit Union.

What You'll Be Doing
In this leadership role, you act like a business owner and member of a united leadership team that collaborates, challenges and pivots your team(s) to capitalize on opportunities to support the collective best interest of the organization and achieve excellence. Your enterprise knowledge helps influence and contribute to strategy development and directs the work required to deliver on our purpose.

  • Lead enterprise project delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations for enterprise and operational projects.
  • Oversee and guide enterprise coordination across agile teams—often through scrum of scrums and other scaled agile practices – to ensure strategic alignment and execution effectiveness.
  • Drive delivery excellence through effective project controls, system management, and performance tracking.
  • Implement project change management strategies to adapt to evolving project requirements.
  • Ensure business analysis is effectively integrated into enterprise delivery practices.
  • Establish and maintain a Delivery Centre of Excellence, promoting best practices and frameworks for project delivery (Agile, Waterfall, Business Analysis).
  • Coach teams on standardized methodologies and frameworks, driving consistency and excellence in project execution.

What You Bring
Experience and Education:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field: PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience in project delivery and project management.
  • Strong background in project change management and/or business analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of agile, waterfall, and business analysis methodologies.
  • Ability to develop and implement standardized frameworks and methodologies for project delivery.
