Our client in Application engineering is looking to fill Sr. Applications Engineer at their Cambridge Facility. If you are passionate and experienced as an Application Engineer especially having knowledge in fluid dynamics, hydraulic principles, and control systems for pumps, Apply here

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Analyze customer specifications, process data, and system requirements to recommend suitable engineered pump solutions.

· Select, size, and configure pumps and related auxiliary systems (seals, drives, controls, instrumentation).

· Coordinates Customer quotations request with sub-vendors

· Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, including cost estimation and scope definition.

· Support the sales team during technical discussions, presentations, and customer meetings.

· Assist project teams with order reviews, system design verification, and compliance with client specifications and industry standards.

· Maintain technical documentation, performance data, and application tools.

· Provide post-order technical support, troubleshooting, and field assistance as required.

· Prepares timely customer quotations

· Communication with Outside Sales, Customers, Vendors, and all other team members involved to ensure proper quotations and specifications

· Stay updated on pump technologies, materials of construction, and industry trends in oil & gas, water treatment, power, and industrial applications

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field

· 8+ years Pump experience preferred in Applications Engineering

· Proven experience in technical support or application engineering, in the pump industry

· Strong understanding of fluid dynamics and various types of pumping systems and related applications

· Understanding of pump performance curves

· Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach
