Schedule: Monday to Friday

Are you passionate about keeping children safe and supporting your community? We're looking for a reliable and friendly Crossing Guard to help ensure the safety of students as they travel to and from school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist children and pedestrians in safely crossing streets at assigned locations.
  • Observe traffic flow and use hand-held stop signs to control vehicles when necessary.
  • Maintain a positive, respectful presence as a representative of the community.
  • Report any safety concerns or incidents to the appropriate supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Reliable and punctual, with strong attention to safety.
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Comfortable interacting with children, parents, and drivers in a calm, professional manner.
  • A criminal record/vulnerable sector check will be required.

Details:

  • Approximately 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday (split shifts around school start and dismissal times).
  • Seasonal position following the school calendar (September–June).
