La personne idéale possède une solide expérience en développement logiciel afin de soutenir et améliorer notre système web propriétaire, qui appuie la vente et la production d'équipements de CVC (chauffage, ventilation et climatisation). Le travail principal consistera en des tâches de développement et de maintenance du back-end dans AWS.

Responsabilités principales

  • Développer, tester et maintenir une logique d'affaires complexe en Java
  • Interagir avec des bases de données SQL
  • Maintenir la base de code avec Git
  • Collaborer avec les membres de l'équipe dans le développement et la planification des projets
  • Contribuer aux processus d'amélioration continue et aux meilleures pratiques en développement logiciel
  • Assurer la maintenance de l'infrastructure AWS

Exigences du poste

  • Baccalauréat en informatique, en génie logiciel ou dans un domaine connexe
  • Minimum de 3 ans d'expérience en tant que développeur·se logiciel ou dans un rôle similaire
  • Minimum de 1 an d'expérience en maintenance d'infrastructure AWS
  • Compétences en développement : Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, Git
  • Compétences AWS : EC2, RDS, IAM, EFS, DNS
  • Excellentes compétences en débogage
  • Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais (un atout)
  • Expérience dans l'implémentation de fonctionnalités d'interface utilisateur en JavaScript natif (un atout)
  • Expérience en assurance qualité/tests (un atout)
  • Expérience avec des projets et environnements legacy (un atout)

Profile

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development to support and improve our proprietary web-based system that supports the sale and production of HVAC equipment. Their core work will include back-end development and maintenance tasks in AWS.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, test and maintain complex business logic in Java
  • Interface with SQL databases
  • Maintain codebase using git
  • Collaborate with team members in development and planning of projects
  • Contribute to continuous improvement processes and best practices in software development.
  • Maintain AWS infrastructure

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
  • 3 years of experience as a Software Developer or a similar role
  • At least 1 year of experience maintaining AWS infrastructure

· Development skills in Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, Git

· AWS skills in EC2, RDS, IAM, EFS, DNS

· Strong debugging skills

· French & English proficiency an asset

· Experience implementing essential user interface features in native JavaScript an asset

· QA/Testing experience an asset

· Experience with legacy projects & environment an asset
