Prep Cook-Day Time Hours

A Prep Cook is an essential part of any kitchen. Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to :

  • Keeping the kitchen clean and orderly
  • Ensuring all ingredients are in stock for the line cooks to complete their menu
  • Washing cutlery and dishes
  • Parboiling foods, allowing the cooks to prepare the menu more efficiently
  • Seasoning and preparing the necessary ingredients for cooking
  • Preparing some dishes such as salads or other less complex menu items
  • Setting out all the cook's ingredients before each shift and refill as necessary

Experience: 1 year experience in food handling setup is required.

Job Types: Full-time

Hours: 35-40 per week
