Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the safety and functionality of vehicles, while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics of vehicles to identify mechanical issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, and brake repairs.
  • Repair or replace components including transmissions, powertrains, and suspension systems.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs.
  • Work with automotive electrical systems and perform necessary repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly about vehicle issues and repair options.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and diesel engine repair techniques.

Experience

  • Previous experience as an Automotive Mechanic is required; dealership experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance practices.
  • Familiarity with schematics, welding, auto estimating, and auto body repair is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of GM vehicles is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
