Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Duties

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various electrical tasks.
  • Renovate existing electrical systems to improve efficiency or meet new standards.
  • Work with logic controllers for automation processes in industrial settings.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects on time.
  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in an industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Experience with renovation projects is a plus.
  • Familiarity with logic controllers is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
